ESP requires no introduction. Known for their astounding build quality, meticulous craftsmanship and utilising only the highest shelf components, they produce instruments loved by players around the world. Today, we will be looking at a 1990’s ESP M-II Deluxe in a rare See Thru Purple finish.
This ESP M-II features an ash body - unlike some other ESP guitars, this one features a paint job that lets you see the wood grain. The neck is bolt-on maple with a rosewood fingerboard. The 24 frets are extra jumbo nickel, with about 80-90% life remaining. The hardware on this guitar is black, which compliments the purple body - the single volume knob, the Floyd Rose bridge, locking nut and the “Made in Japan” branded tuners. Finally, the electronics consist of a set of Seymour Duncan pickups - a full sized humbucker in the bridge position, and a single coil sized humbucker in the neck position. Pairing these electronics with the slim and fast feeling neck leave no room for guesses - this guitar was built to shred.
This guitar has small blemishes due to its age, such as: small dents in a few places throughout the neck and body; scratches on the tremolo cavity cover; some rust on the Floyd Rose screws. These defects do not impact playability.
