The Kultrumm W295b (built by Kultrumm Audio

Labs) is a boutique, transistor-based analog

equalizer inspired by the legendary vintage German

broadcast modules made by Siemens and Sitral. It is

widely praised for delivering a creamy, sweet, and

highly musical tone

Sound and Character

Creamy highs and punchy lows: Extends frequency

response beyond 30Hz and past 20kHz to match

modern standards while keeping vintage warmth.

Colorful mids: Features a bell filter where the

Q-factor tightens as you boost or cut, perfect for

shaping vocals and guitars

Transient softening: Gently smooths out harsh peaks

while adding body and rich analog depth

Modern Enhancements & Controls

Precise 1dB steps: Unlike vintage units with coarser

2dB-3dB jumps, Kultrumm uses fully stepped 1dB

increments for easier mastering control.Haufe-style

transformers: Uses custom-spec input and output

transformers for low distortion and authentic sonic

richness.Bands included: Features a low shelf

(around 100 Hz), a selectable mid-range bell (0.7 to

5.6 kHz), and a 10kHz
