National Resonator Guitars

National has been in the resonator guitar game since there was a resonator guitar game to be in. In fact, they were the first company ever formed to the purpose of building resonator guitars. After co-founder John Dopyera left the company to form Dobro, and eventually merged the two companies to form the National Dobro Corporation, the company became virtually the only name in the resonator business. In 1989, National Reso-Phonic Guitars popped up to produce recreations of the famous National resonators, as well as mandolins, ukuleles, and other guitars. All this is to say, if you dig a good resonator guitar, vintage or otherwise, you have National to thank for that. Compare prices and shop National resonator guitars on Reverb now.
