Guyatone Guitars and Pedals

Guyatone was among the first Japanese guitar manufacturers, kicking off production in 1933. The original models were heavily inspired by the era's Hawaiian guitars and later, Rickenbacker lap steels, though Guyatone was quick to switch over to more standard electric guitars in the 1950s with the EG and LG series guitars. A wide range of funky offset guitars were produced throughout the '60s, often through Guyatone's distribution channel and badged with other companies' logos. Today, the resurrected Guyatone brand focuses mostly on effects pedals.
