Egnater Amps has been in operation since 1975 when Bruce Egnater graduated from the University of Detroit Engineering School and opened The Amp Lounge, a small guitar repair shop. In the ensuing four decades, the name "Egnater" has been synonymous with handmade boutique amplifiers, cabinets, and effect pedals.
