Ddrum started out life in 1983 producing drum pads, triggers, and hoops beginning with the Digital Percussion Plate 1, which quickly found favor with drummers from all genres. In 2005, the company widely expanded its roster to include acoustic kits, snares, and hardware like the popular Reflex and D1 series. Currently endorsing an artist roster including Carmine and Vinny Appice, ddrum combines high-spec appointments like maple shells and triple-flanged hoops with more accessible price points making them one of the big contenders in the modern drum world.
