This is a really nice Yamaha Red Label FG3 for anyone who likes a good old school acoustic without needing to go full vintage. The solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides give it that classic mahogany dreadnought sound — warm and woody with plenty of punch when you dig in. The modified scalloped bracing also lets the guitar open up nicely without losing that familiar Yamaha character.The neck has a comfortable feel, with an ebony fingerboard and a 25" scale that sits a little shorter than the typical dreadnought. The semi-gloss finish, open gear Gotoh tuners, and vintage-style Red Label headstock give it a cool understated look.Overall, this is one of those guitars that feels pretty straightforward in the best way.
