Two Notes Torpedo Captor X 16 Ohm – Excellent Condition, Original BoxSelling my Two Notes Torpedo Captor X 16 Ohm, as it no longer has a fixed role in my current setup.It is in excellent condition, only used at home, and works exactly as it should. There may be very minor signs of use, but nothing that affects function in any way. Comes with the original box, power supply and accessories as shown in the photos.I originally bought it to use my tube amp in a more flexible way — especially for recording and silent playing. The classic guitarist dream, really: getting the sound and feel of a real amp without necessarily having to move air with a loud cabinet in an apartment.That is still exactly where the Captor X makes sense.It works as a reactive load box, attenuator, IR loader and cabinet simulator. In practice, it lets you take the sound of your own tube amp and send it out as a controlled, usable signal with cabinet/microphone simulation. Great for recording interfaces, mixers, PA systems or headphones, depending on your setup.It is especially useful if you want to:record your real tube amp directlyplay at lower volume or with headphonesavoid setting up a microphone in front of a cabinet every timeuse virtual cabinets and IRssend a stable signal to an audio interface, mixer or live setupget more practical use out of an amp you already loveFor me, this is one of those pieces of gear that makes the most sense if you already like your amp, but want to bring it into a more modern recording/live setup with IRs, headphones and direct outputs. It is not a magic box that plays guitar for you — but it makes using a real tube amp much more practical.This is the 16 Ohm version, so please make sure it matches your amp/output setup.The included power supply is the EU version.Selling only because my own setup has moved more towards amp sims/IR-based solutions, and I already have another load box for my Marshall.
