About this listing
Drive pedals are the heart of every pedalboard, and the new Teisco Mini Distortion pedal is a quick and affordable way to add great distortion textures to your rig. Sounding very RAT like, the Mini Distortion has a broad range of tones from sparkly crunch to heavily saturated distortion. But unlike the RAT the Mini Distortion is not overly bright, and we found our favorite tones past noon on the tone level. The Mini Distortion can also get pretty loud, and at higher gain levels we had the level control down below nine o'clock. But it's all easily manageable, and like the other Teisco Mini Pedals the tones punch well above their weight.
Affordability does not mean compromising on quality. The Teisco Mini Distortion delivers powerful arena-worthy tones in a small footprint, making it ideal for players who want great sound without sacrificing space or breaking the bank.
In the words of Teisco:
Retro Rebellion. A love letter to the era of garage rock and fuzz-drenched solos. Inspired by the raw, saturated drive of the '60s and '70s, the Teisco Mini Vintage Distortion brings thick, harmonically rich textures to your rig. With its unique vintage EQ curve, it’s the perfect tool for cutting through the mix with a tone that feels both nostalgic and dangerous.
The Teisco Touch: Our mini enclosures are built like tanks and look like art. Each pedal features a non-slip rubber base for stable tabletop experimenting—but if you’re ready to take the chaos to the stage, the pad is easily removable for a clean Velcro application. Rugged, true bypass, and unapologetically Teisco.
