Technics SL-1200MK5 direct-drive turntable, made for the Japanese market. Includes VCT 500W 120V-to-100V step-down voltage converter for use in the U.S.Classic Japanese-made Technics 1200 and increasingly hard to find, especially the MK5.Turntable powers up and mechanically has been working normally — motor, platter, pitch control, start/stop, etc.PLEASE READ: Recently the audio began intermittently cutting out on one channel. Moving/adjusting the RCA cables would bring the channel back, so there appears to be an issue somewhere in the audio cable/connection.
