Overview

Stromberg started out in 1905 as a maker of banjos and drums in Boston. The Stromberg family moved into guitar territory in the early '30s producing a series of archtops including the G series. Only about 640 Stromberg guitars were ever built, and due to their customized nature, there is a great deal of variation within each model series. While not quite as sought-after, Stromberg archtops are often grouped with those of D'Angelico in the evolution of the Jazz guitar.

Years of Production: 1930s
