About this listing
Schecter Reaper-7 Multiscale Electric Guitar in Satin Sky Burst
The Reaper-7 Multiscale is built for seven-string players who need articulate high-end clarity and defined low-end response without compromise. Its multiscale design and ultra-thin neck profile eliminate the ergonomic trade-offs typically associated with extended-range instruments, making it equally capable in clean tones and heavily processed rigs. This is a precision tool for serious players tackling both upper-register work and lower-register definition.
Tone and Electronics
Schecter Diamond Decimator pickups in bridge and neck positions deliver the articulation and definition this guitar was engineered for. The straightforward control scheme—volume, push-pull tone control, and three-way switch—pairs with the Hipshot Hardtail bridge and string-through-body design to maximize sustain and tonal coherence across all seven strings without unnecessary complexity.
Playability and Construction
The multiscale neck spans 25.5" to 27" across the seven strings, ensuring consistent string tension and intonation from low B to high B. An ultra-thin "C" profile measuring .748" at the first fret and .787" at the 12th minimizes hand fatigue, while maple/walnut multi-ply construction with carbon fiber reinforcement maintains stability. The set-neck design with Ultra Access routing provides seamless upper-fret access without sacrificing structural integrity.
