More on that below in the text.The synthesizer is in its original condition and works perfectly! It was completely checked and works perfectly.All LED screens and letters work properly, with no burned out lights or digits and no faded characters. Many Oberheim Xpanders have this problem caused by prolonged use. It can be switched between the US and EU voltage, so you dont need Power transformators.Please note that I am only selling the device without accessories. No bags, cases, stands, Manuals, Speakers or anything else. Only the musical instrument including power cable is supplied.⚙️US Version vs. Japan VersionDue to some questions from interested parties, I will communicate the topic here once.Yes, my Oberheim Xpander is the US version!Why is the US version better than the Japan version and what are the differences?I have already clearly shown the optical differences in the picture. The wooden sides are also much nicer on the US version, there are still differences in the controls such as buttons, which react much better and more demanding on the US version.The Japan version of the Oberheim Xpander appear to have a number of complicated issues that are often not easily resolved (and unusual issues may still arise on currently working Japan models)The US unit has separate circuit boards for power and voices, an illuminated power button, and two metal plates over the power input.The Japanese connected the power and voices (and apparently even the power transformer) on the same board. The Japan version uses a standard toggle switch and a metal plate over the power input.Based on research and experience from other Xpander owners, the Japanese Xpander are extremely difficult if not impossible to repair.
