About this listing
2004 Martin D-18 in very good condition, complete with its original Martin hardcase. The Martin D-18 is one of the all-time classic American dreadnoughts, and this 2004 example is a really nice one. It has that familiar spruce and mahogany combination that makes these so popular - clear, punchy, articulate, and powerful without losing warmth. Whether it’s being used for flatpicking, strumming, singer-songwriter work or general all-around acoustic duties, the D-18 has earned its reputation for good reason. This one is in very good condition overall. There are a couple of minor dings to note, with one on the front of the body and one on the back, but nothing severe at all, and it presents very well for its age. It also comes with its original Martin hardcase.Specs include: 2004 Martin D-18 Standard Series Made in USA Dreadnought body Natural finish Spruce top Mahogany back and sides Mahogany neck Rosewood fretboard C-shape neck profile Approx. .83" neck depth at the 1st fret Approx. .89" neck depth at the 12th fret 16" fingerboard radius 1-11/16" nut width 25.4" scale length Mother-of-pearl dot inlays Heel-adjust truss rod 20 frets Original Martin hardcase included A lovely, mature USA-made Martin dreadnought that offers everything people look for in a D-18 - strong projection, great clarity, and that dry, woody response that sits so well in both live and recording situations. This item is also available to view and try out at our store in Stroud, Gloucestershire.
