The Classic Gain channel is great for bluesy overdrive and classic rock crunch, while the Ultra Gain channel provides thick, saturated high-gain tones perfect for modern rock and metal.One of the best features of this amp is the Pentode/Triode switch. In Pentode mode you get the full 15 watts for gigs and band practice. Flip it into Triode mode and the amp drops to roughly 7–8 watts, giving you that sweet, saturated tone at much lower volumes — perfect for bedroom playing, late-night practice, or small venues without losing the character of the amp.
