The Unicorn V2 is JHS’s 2018 update to the original circuit, which was released in 2015 and sought to bring to market the world’s first bulb-driven photocell modulator with tap tempo—players’ very own Uni-Vibe reminiscent of those used by Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix but with more features and functionality. Because of how well-received the original was, JHS didn’t change much of anything about the V2, aside from decreasing its size and price. The Unicorn V2 is an excellent buy for guitar players looking for these classic vibe tones.
