About this listing
For sale is my Ibanez AS153 Artstar semi-hollow electric guitar in Antique Yellow Sunburst, upgraded with a matched pair of Seymour Duncan ’59 humbuckers:SH-1n ’59 NeckSH-1b ’59 BridgeThe guitar includes its original Ibanez hardshell case. The AS153 is a high-quality, 335-style semi-hollow with a beautifully figured flame maple body, bound ebony fingerboard, bone nut, gold hardware and Ibanez’s comfortable Artstar neck. It has a 24.75-inch scale length and 22 frets. The original model was also equipped with a Tri-Sound switch for additional neck-pickup wiring options. The Seymour Duncan ’59 set gives it a warm and articulate vintage PAF-style sound. It works especially well for jazz, blues, classic rock, fusion, worship and clean-to-medium-gain tones. It plays and sounds great. I am selling it because I mainly play my Les Paul, and this guitar is not getting the use it deserves.ConditionThe guitar is in very good used condition. There are normal signs of use, including some wear and tarnishing on the gold hardware. Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description. I have tried to photograph the guitar honestly from several angles.IncludedIbanez AS153 ArtstarSeymour Duncan SH-1n ’59 neck pickupSeymour Duncan SH-1b ’59 bridge pickupOriginal Ibanez hardshell caseThe original Ibanez pickups are not included. The guitar will be packed carefully and securely for shipping.Brand: IbanezModel: AS153 ArtstarFinish: Antique Yellow SunburstYear: Check the serial number before enteringMade in: Check the rear headstock label or serial numberBody type: Semi-hollowBody shape: Double cutawayRight/left-handed: Right-handedNumber of strings: 6-stringPickup configuration: HHNeck pickup: Seymour Duncan SH-1n ’59Bridge pickup: Seymour Duncan SH-1b ’59Scale length: 24.75 inchesFretboard: EbonyNumber of frets: 22Case: Original hardshell caseCondition: Very Good
