A beautiful jumbo with a huge sound, unmistakable styling, and substantial build that make Guild jumbos so appealing. Finished in a gorgeous sunburst, this example has developed loads of genuine character from years of use.The F-50 features a spruce top paired with maple back and sides, a classic combination that works especially well with the jumbo body. The maple helps provide a clear, articulate response and strong note separation, while the enormous F-50 body delivers the projection, punch, and low-end presence expected from one of Guild’s flagship jumbo designs.Visually, it has all the classic Guild appointments: bound body and fingerboard, large block inlays, oversized tortoise-style pickguard, and the unmistakable jumbo silhouette. The sunburst has aged beautifully and gives the guitar a particularly striking vintage appearance.This is very much a player-grade vintage guitar, and its condition should be understood accordingly. There is significant finish checking across both the front and back, along with scratches, marks, and general play wear. There also appears to be a small crack beginning to form on the top.
