About this listing
For sale is my Gibson SG Standard from July–September 1969, serial number 809060.To be completely transparent from the start, this is a player-grade guitar, not a collector-grade instrument. It has been refinished (respecting serial number, it can be seen) and has had a previous repair/intervention at the neck/body joint. The repair is stable, and the guitar is very stable and holds tuning extremely well. The guitar is fitted with a pair of SoloDallas T-TOP Solo 1971 humbuckers, with their original 1969 Gibson chrome pickup covers.Original 1969 parts:ABR-1 Patent No. 2... bridge with original yellow nylon saddlesOriginal chrome vibrola (arm is not original)Original pickguardOriginal backplateOriginal truss rod coverTwo original volume potsOriginal input jackOriginal 1969 chrome pickup covers3 Original 1969 KnobsOriginal metal electronics cavity shieldElectronicsThe two volume pots are original to the guitar, with code 1376852.The tone pots are not original I think from the 80s.It has Philips NOS mustard capacitors from the 1960s, 0.022 µF.Playability & constructionThe guitar has been refretted and the frets are in excellent condition, with very little visible wear.
