I’m selling my beautiful 2011 Gibson ES-339 in Vintage Sunburst.This is one of the highly sought-after models from the period when the ES-339 was still handcrafted at the Gibson Custom Shop in Memphis. It features the Custom Shop logo on the back of the headstock and comes with the original Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case.The guitar is in very good, well-maintained condition and is ready to play. It only shows the typical signs of use and wear expected for its age. There is some slight discoloration on one area of the neck from regular playing. Additionally, there is a small crescent-shaped finish mark on the back of the guitar. Übersicht

The Gibson ES-339 electric guitar draws from a multitude of sources to comprise its build: a shape similar to that of the ES-335, a smaller body size closer to a Les Paul. The ES-339 was designed to offer the fuller sound of a semi-hollow but with the comfort and playability of a solidbody guitar. Sometimes called the Gibson Memphis ES-339, this electric was built in Gibson's Memphis Custom Shop and actually sports Gibson's Memphis Tone Circuit, making the moniker particularly apt.

This first run of ES-339s features '57 Classic pickups.
