A superb early-1970s Gibson ES-175 finished in a beautifully faded Sunburst, complete with its original Gibson hard shell case. This is exactly the sort of vintage ES-175 that immediately feels right the moment you pick it up: lightweight, resonant, warm and full of character, with decades of natural ageing giving the guitar an unmistakable vintage presence.
The faded Sunburst finish has mellowed beautifully over the years, revealing all the charm and elegance you would hope to see on a well-preserved Gibson hollowbody from this era. Tonally, this ES-175 delivers the classic Gibson jazz sound in abundance: warm lows, rich mids and a wonderfully open, woody response with excellent note definition. From smooth jazz lines and blues phrasing to gritty vintage rock tones, this guitar covers it all effortlessly. the back and sides are walnut stained
