1970 GIBSON EB-0 SLOTTED HEADSTOCKRare Gibson EB-0 bass with slotted headstock in excellent all-original condition.The EB-0 with slotted headstock was only produced from late ’69 to ’71. This instrument is extremely light at just 7.14 lbs, with EB basses of the 70s easily weighing 10 to 11 lbs ! The famous “Mudbucker” pickup in neck position with 28.6(!) K-ohm output delivers the rumbling sound for which this bass is famous. Comes with a black period correct case.Technical details:SG body, double cutaway, Mahagony neck with split head, Scale: 30.5″, Rosewood fingerboard, with “dots ”inlays and 19 frets, 1x orig. Mudbucker PU (28,6K-Ohm), Stud/Bridge compensated tailpiece, Chrome-plated hardware, 4x Schaller M4 tuners (2l/2r) 1x Volumen-, 1x Tone control, Pots date from 19th week of 1970, Vintage period correct black case included.
