1960 Les Paul Standard Reissue - Slim Neck, Fat Vintage Tones
1960 was the last year for the original Les Paul™ Standard, nearly identical to a 1959 model except for a few specs. Most notably, it features a fast-playing slim neck profile, beloved by the many famous musicians who played '60 Bursts including Eric Clapton, Joe Walsh, and Paul McCartney. It also has "reflector" Volume & Tone knobs and wider "double-ring" tuner tips.
Authentic, Vintage Original Spec (VOS)
The Custom Shop 1960 Les Paul Standard Reissue Vintage Original Spec (VOS) is a clone of the originals. It features hide-glue construction, chemically re-engineered plastic parts, original hardware. No detail is sparred from the Nitro VOS finish, Aged Cellulose Nitrate Trapezoid Inlays, No-Wire ABR-1 Bridge, and much more.
Classic Electronics
Get authentic vintage tone from Custombucker Alnico III pickups in both the bridge and neck positions. These pickups deliver all the warm, fat tone that Les Pauls are known for. These pickups are complimented by the historically accurate electronics such as the CTS 500K Audio Taper Potentiometers and Paper-in-Oil Capacitors. Furthermore this guitar has modern upgrades like Switchcraft output jack and 3-way switch. All of this gives you an exceptional sonic experience.
