This is a *partially non-functioning* Fractal Axe-FX III unit that is in cosmetically excellent condition. The USB port does not work, and the onboard display screen has recently started booting up with a solid white screen. Otherwise, the unit still works and outputs sound. I have used it via AES connection to/from my RME interface as well as direct instrument in with headphone connection and it works. Presets can still be managed with Axe-Edit via MIDI cable (though a bit slower connection). I will include a Roland UM-ONE MIDI interface. Fractal support has quoted me $690+$590 to replace the DSP module and motherboard to repair both the USB and display screen issue as an idea of repair cost. Excellent condition Axe III's are going for around or just under $2k so anyone who wants to take on the repair can ultimate get an excellent condition one with new internals for around or less than that. Otherwise, it can be used via MIDI connection and still output great sound. Some of my favorite factory presets are loaded starting on preset # 59. I have included screenshots of Axe-Edit to show it is loading and functioning in respect to that.Given the nature of the non-working parts, this item is being sold AS-IS and should only be purchased by someone willing to take on the repair or use it as-is.
