Up for sale or trade is my genuine 1971 Fender Telecaster in Blonde. Will upload neck/body pocket photos and interior/pots etc tomorrow (if I haven't, just msg me). This is a proper vintage Tele that's been played and enjoyed over the last 50+ years. It's not a museum piece—it's an honest player-grade guitar that sounds every bit as good as you'd hope an early '70s Fender would. Specs & Features:* Genuine 1971 neck date* Matching 1971 neck plate serial - 327268 (300,000s date to 1971-1972)* Neck pocket date stamped Jun 71* Body pocket doesn't include a stamp (common during the CBS era) but has the trademark 60s-70s pin router holes on back of the body (see images)* Original bridge pickup * Original wiring harness * Original hardware * Original pickguard * Original CTS pots dated 1968 (common for Fender to use earlier stock) * Mick Brierley hand-wound neck pickup, perfectly balanced with the original bridge pickup * Professional refret with excellent fret life remaining * Original blonde finish with a clear overspray * Weighs 4.1kg* Includes quality Gator hard case This Tele has everything you want from a vintage Fender—plenty of snap, twang and bite from the bridge pickup, with a warm, articulate neck pickup that complements it beautifully. It resonates well acoustically, stays in tune and is a joy to play. The refin and refret mean you can actually use and enjoy this guitar without worrying about preserving a collector-grade example. It's an ideal vintage Tele for someone who wants the sound, feel and character of an original early-'70s Fender at a much more approachable price. I'm open to cash sale or trade.
