The Fender USA Highway One series delivered an accessible price point while still Made In USA, achieved by simplifying some finishing steps; a thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish preserves the wood's natural resonance, making it a popular series.This unit pairs classic alder body/rosewood fingerboard construction with a modified Bartolini electronics setup. Preamp: Bartolini TCT. Controls: Vol/Balance/Bass/Treble. Bridge swapped to a BADASS II.Warm sound focused on low to low-mid frequencies, with deep bottom, rich mids, and moderate attack for a very smooth tone.
