Cushmic Sounds is pleased to offer on consignment this highly coveted, early 1982 Fender American Vintage (AVRI) 1957 Reissue Stratocaster in lovely 2-tone sunburst with thin Nitro Lacquer finish.Produced at Fender's original Fullerton, California plant between 1982 and 1984, these guitars were the first official reissues and are celebrated by collectors for their deep, vintage-accurate body contours and for being the instruments that "saved" Fender's reputation during the transition away from CBS ownership before Fender moved operations to Corona in 1985.
