The Fender 70th Anniversary AVII 1954 Stratocaster B-Stock is a USA-made electric guitar that celebrates the original double-cut icon with meticulous vintage spec and player-ready refinement. Its alder body capped with an ash top wears a classic 2-Color Sunburst, paired with a bolt-on maple neck and maple fingerboard for the unmistakable Strat snap and clarity. This B-Stock example is new and fully functional, with a small cosmetic note: a minor chipped lacquer area on the lower bout.
Under the hood, three vintage-style single-coil pickups feed a period-correct control set: 1 Master Volume, 2 Tone controls, and a 3-way switch. Expect glassy neck cleans, articulate and percussive middle tones, and a bright, cutting bridge bite. Roll back the tone for smooth, rounded rhythm textures, or push your amp for driven, harmonically rich lead sounds that stay dynamic and responsive. The vintage-style synchronized tremolo invites expressive vibrato while retaining the Strat’s signature immediacy and touch sensitivity.
Playability is pure mid-’50s comfort. The soft “V” neck profile fills the hand without feeling bulky, while the 7.25" radius and 21 frets deliver that slinky, vintage feel for chords, double-stops, and melodic bends. A 25.5" scale and 1.650" nut width keep string tension and spacing in the familiar Fender zone, and vintage-style tuners provide stable, smooth winding. On stage, this Strat cuts through the mix with chime and authority; in the studio, it tracks beautifully—from clean, bell-like parts to edge-of-breakup grit and focused, overdriven lines. Right-handed orientation and an included hard case round out a stage- and tour-ready package.
