Overview
The ESP Skulls & Snakes is a signature axe for George Lynch, a former member of heavy metal band Dokken. Lynch helped pioneer collaborations between ESP and heavy metal guitarists, from style to hardware specs. Made in ESP’s custom shop in Japan, this guitar has an alder body and maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Sound-wise, it’s powered by Lynch’s preference for a pair of hand-wound Arcane pickups—a single-coil Desert Eagle at the neck and a Mr. Scary Humbucker in the bridge. The Skulls & Snake also features a Floyd Rose Original bridge and Gotoh tuners, so players can rip without fear.
