About this listing
The Dunable Gnarwhal DE Bass brings the distinctive Gnarwhal shape and long-scale design to Dunable's Korean-built DE series. This Blacked Out version pairs a swamp ash body with a maple neck and ebony fingerboard, finished in matte black with black hardware for a stripped-down look that suits the instrument's aggressive design. The 35" scale and dual Dunable P-style pickups give this bass a focused, powerful voice with plenty of low-end authority and midrange presence. Two volume controls and a master tone keep the electronics straightforward, while the string-through high-mass bridge, lightweight cloverleaf tuners, Luminlay side dots, and jumbo frets make it a practical instrument for players who spend a lot of time in lower tunings.FeaturesMatte black open-pore finishSwamp ash body35" scale lengthLightweight open-back cloverleaf tunersMaple neckMedium "C" neck profileEbony fretboardWhite fingerboard bindingPearloid block inlaysLuminlay side dotsJumbo nickel-silver frets1.55" nut widthGraphTech black TUSQ nutDual Dunable P-style pickups2 × Volume controls1 × Tone controlBlack hardwareString-through high-mass flatmount bridgeBlack 3-ply pickguardHardshell Dunable DE case
