***PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING FOR SPECIAL DETAILS.***This is an early 90’s model, that was restored by a local amp manufacturer. New MOSFETS, Bias dials, Caps, solder joints redone, new tubes, the works. It is missing the level slider on the Graphic EQ but that level can still be adjusted with a small flat screwdriver or hard pick. This amp does have that common effects loop issue (amp sometimes produces a hum with weak signal) that is easily fixed by placing a patch cable in the send and return inputs, or by running your effects processor chain or pedals through it, and the amp will sound as good as it should and function perfectly fine. I can include a patch cable for free, as well as a new fan that i never installed. Aside from those minor issues, this functions like new, and sounds far better and more like an Ampeg than the newer models. I currently have it housed in a modified for 2U rack amps Ampeg BA500 cabinet, as the amplifier section of the BA500 was toast. It makes a powerful but compact gig rig, and they sound amazing together. Casters have been installed on the cabinet for easier moving. If you want both the III-PRO and the cab, local pickup or delivery would be preferred, otherwise the shipping will be $200 due to the heavy item handling fee due to the size and weight of the combo, as well as special protective packaging to ensure the safe transport of it.
