Zildjian 18" trans stamp Type 3. crash/ride (or ride/crash) cymbal at 1392 gm. Early 1950's. Measures from 17-15/16" to 18.0". Standard 7/16" bell hole has slight key holing with an extra +1/16" on one side which would probably help fit today's 1/2" tilter tops. No cracks or flea bites. Sits nearly flat unlike 90% of them. Not cleaned. Typical dry, dark and sizzly trans stamp. Nice even light brown to golden patina on both sides. Just a nice looking cymbal.....and not $300-$400 like so many others. Only 1 minor edge bruise/bump that I photographed.....barely noticeable. Very clean overall and well above average imo. Few other sellers mention such "flaws" that don't affect playing. I do it for complete accuracy. Many or these hand hammered cymbals were made like this. Great sounding cymbal which shows some reflectivity, so this is probably a brilliant finish....hence a brighter/cutting more metallic tone overall.
