Video: Electronic Audio Experiments Beholder Aberrant Reverberator Demo

Today, we here at Reverb are excited to be in the studio with a brand-new offering from Boston-based pedal builders Electronic Audio Experiments. The new stompbox is a fuzzy reverb circuit called the Beholder, and it's available now.

To add to the excitement, Electronic Audio Experiments is now selling exclusively through Reverb. To celebrate, they've built a special batch of 25 units in a limited edition colorway, for Reverb buyers only.

If you're looking for a more traditional, clean reverb effect, the Beholder is likely not the stompbox for you. Subverting conventional pedalboard practice (that mandates reverb units be placed after your dirt boxes), the Beholder is made up of a combination of a very wet reverb circuit and a high-gain fuzz circuit. The result is a dark, gritty, and exceedingly harmonically complex sonic soundscape, perfect for chaotic noise or long drones that degrade into self-oscillation.
