1964 Fender Bassman (AA864) head for sale.
Time to sell my blackface Bassman head featuring the highly sought-after AA864 blackface circuit. From my research, this circuit is the one you want when you think Bassman. Known for its huge clean headroom, rich Fender sparkle, and warm, dynamic response, this is one of the most desirable Bassman circuits ever produced. A fantastic pedal platform and an absolute classic for guitar or bass. Amp has been serviced previously although not in the 18 months I've owned it; its over 60 years old so obviously will require some work again at some point and priced accordingly. USA plug, output transformers are all original and have '64 date codes. I can't get to the power transformer easily but I can open it up for photos if need be. It does work beautifully and sounds great!
