Schoeps MT-30F are the transistor version/successor of the Schoeps M-221 tube microphone, introduced in the early 60's.
Following RTF guidance and specs, it had to remain compatible with previous M-221 capsules.
(RTF is former name of french national broadcast organisation, before it was renamed ORTF in 1964)
Those have the advantage of having been modified to run on classic phantom 48 power and connector has been changed to XLR, as it was often the case for those still in use in the 80's.
Following RTF specifications, original ones were running on -9v and had a specific connector called sogie. So you have a classic vintage fet SDC mic, directly usable in the modern world.
Those have the MK 24 cardioid capsule. (those will also fit M-221f, if you have some, as explained above
I have some audio examples on acoustic guitar
Comes with their vintage Schoeps mic clips and a later Schoeps box (80's)
