3-Way Switches (these let you "mix & match" amp tones):

MIC (Cab/Mic sim): Off Axis, Center, Classic.

MOD (Modification/gain structure): Hot Wired, Hi Gain, Clean.

AMP (Core amp character): California (Mesa/Boogie style), British (Marshall style), Tweed (Fender style).

Footswitch — Engages the effect (buffered bypass).

It has a built-in speaker/cab simulation, making it great for direct recording into an audio interface or mixing board, as well as live use through a power amp or FRFR system.

100% analog circuitry (no digital modeling).

Extremely versatile — you can create a huge range of tones by combining the switches.

Tough, simple, and reliable. It's been in production basically unchanged for over 30 years.
