This 1998 Music Man Stingray SR-4 is considered the epitome of active-bass guitars.

It features an ash body, a maple neck with a 6-screw joint, a maple fingerboard, an 864mm (34") scale length, a nut width of approximately 43.1mm, a humbucker pickup, and a 3-band equalizer.

With its striking appearance and a rich, full-bodied sound, this Music Man flagship model is not only ideal for slap playing but also boasts a wide range of tonal variations thanks to its 3-band EQ, making it a highly versatile instrument.

Due to a damaged joint plate, it has been replaced with a new one (serial registration updated in the manufacturerfs database). It shows signs of use, including discoloration, paint cracks at the joint, sticker residue on the back of the body, minor scratches and scuffs, wear and wipe marks, picking marks, buckle marks, darkening around the neck from playing, and tarnish, pitting, or rust on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damages.

Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret leveling, nut replacement); the frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod has been tested to 60 degrees on both sides and is in good working order.

Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches are present, but the instrument is suitable for normal use.
