It has a well-balanced tone! A D-28 in player's condition!
This 2005 D-28 features a low-profile neck with a 42.9mm nut width, non-scalloped bracing, a black pickguard, and a gold-foil logo.
There are scattered dents, scratches, scuffs, and marks from a belt buckle. There is some finish deterioration (clouding) on the top near where the right elbow rests, likely caused by sweat. On the side near where the right elbow rests, there are fine cracks in the finish, though the affected area is small. Additionally, there is a scaly-like deterioration of the finish over a wide area at the bottom of the side on the bass-string side, as well as along the edge of the back on the bass-string side. In some places, the finish has peeled off, and there are areas that have turned black. There are refinished areas on the back of the neck, and capo marks are visible. The nut has been replaced.
The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod has been tested to move 60 degrees in both directions. The frets have been dressed and show no dents, with over 70% of their original height remaining. While there is noticeable cosmetic damage, both playability and sound are impeccable. It retains the characteristic thickness of non-scalloped bracing while delivering tight bass tones and a well-balanced sound.
It comes with the original hard case. Aside from some dirt and scratches, the case is slightly warped, but this does not affect its practical use. This is a playerfs condition instrument at a reasonable price.
