Bogner Fish SN:022 Early 90's

For sale is my original Bogner Fish all-tube preamp, serial number 022.

Widely regarded as one of the most legendary and sought-after rack preamps ever built, the Bogner Fish has achieved near-mythical status amongst collectors, studio players, and fans of the golden era of boutique rack systems.

This is not a reissue, clone, or reproduction. It is an original North Hollywood-built Fish from the original production run and carries the exceptionally low serial number 022, making it one of the earliest known production examples.

The Fish features its four legendary channels:

Clean

Brown

Shark

Strato

Each channel has its own distinct voice, covering everything from pristine cleans through to the rich, aggressive high-gain tones that helped establish the Fish as one of the most respected preamps ever produced.

This unit has been part of my personal rack system and has been paired with a VHT 2150 power amp. It is fully functional and sounds exactly as a Fish should.

Condition

For a piece of professional equipment of this age, it presents very well. There are minor signs of use consistent with a vintage rack unit, but nothing that affects operation. Please refer to the photos for an accurate representation of condition.

Finding an original Fish with a serial number this low is significantly rarer.
