Black Box is an open-source DSP guitar pedal platform built around an Electrosmith Daisyseed, derived from GuitarML's open-source FunBox project. This is a platform that allows for users to program their own effects using either C++, Max Msp Gen~, Pure Data, Faust or Rust. It also features swappable artwork by adhering UV printed decals to 3D printed panels, which then sit between the nuts/washers and enclosure.
The Black Box platform comes equipped with:
- Stereo TRS input/output
- 6 potentiometers
- 3 threeway toggle switches
- 4 two way dipswitches
- 2 soft stomp switches
- 2 LED indicators
- ⅛” TRS expression pedal input
- ⅛” TRS MIDI input
- USB input port for Daisyseed
- 9V single barrel DC input
