From a former SSL design engineer, an original studio-grade boutique analog guitar effects pedal designed and hand built by Midboost in Bristol, UK.  Sculpt your guitar tone by boosting or cutting a chosen frequency band by a chosen amount.  Add a bit of volume or bite to your amp via the clean boost stage.  Fix problem frequencies with the “notch” EQ feature.

Can also be used with electric bass, keyboards, electro-acoustics etc.

This pedal is road-tested, quiet, and has advanced protection against electrical damage.  Every pedal gets nearly 50 separate setup checks in the workshop!

• Studio-grade analog(ue) design using branded quality components
• EQ Lo and Hi ranges spanning 45Hz to 10kHz
• EQ curve with boost or cut amount -18dB through +18dB
• Separate clean boost (or cut) -15dB through +15dB
• ‘Surgical’ EQ mode (notch) to remove a problem frequency
• Relay switched True-Bypass
• Runs from standard 9V DC pedal power supply at 28mA (no internal battery)
• Extra clean headroom using external 12V DC power supply

“I wanted something more tunable than a Graphic EQ so based on my experience with mixing consoles I designed the Mont Blanc.  After blowing up a pedal once by plugging in the wrong power supply I decided I wanted my self-designed pedals to survive these sort of stage accidents!  My pedal board has a lot of wasted space from side-mounted jacks so I wanted this pedal to have all its jacks on the top.  I was also amazed at how stupidly bright some pedal LEDs are on stage so fixed that in the design too.”  -- on designing Mont Blanc
