Extremely rare, in excellent condition, 15" field-coil speaker manufactured in the 30s by Petent Grassman, model Fafner 7b.
This is a 4-ohm speaker, driven by a huge electromagnet. This speaker contains a complete amplifier based on RES964 tubes on board.
The amplifier has beautiful, large transformers, probably Goerler, such as in the best amplifiers of that era, like Lorenz BV6. The speaker is in the original wooden box. This is probably the only such well-preserved, complete copy. The speaker has been tested. Its sound can be described as extremely energetic. The amount of the lower frequency band is simply overwhelming. The speaker reflects the energy of the recording in an incredibly realistic way. This is the best woofer I have ever heard. The amplifier part has not been started - it requires checking the elements.
If you are looking for the best monophonic 15" field-coil German woofer in great technical condition, this is the copy for you!
