Cartec EQ-Pre-2A 2017 - Green

A rather rare unit as the company to my understanding is no longer in existence. This is a solid state version of their MidSide stereo mic pre/EQ based on the vintage solid state Lang and tube Pultec units.

We are offering it at greatly reduced discount due to the fact that one of the channels has a hum, which is directly related to the AC/DC unit inside, which is located too close to the analog wiring. I believe the manufacturer/inventor packed a bit too much inside this 2U while providing both 120/240V option with a switch on the back of the unit. This could possibly be an easy fix requiring a skilled tech to resolve.

It's been sitting on our shelved for a few years now as I didn't have the heart to give it away. The price is for one fully working channel, while the second works, albeit with a DC-like leakage peaking around -62dB. This will be shipped in its original box. Any serious offers will be considered.
