1997 Guild Starfire II
All original, true hollow-body electric guitar. Comes with the highly valued pickups that Seymour Duncan made for this line as the Westerly plant was ramping back up to build the Starfire line of guitars.
Adult owned and cared for. Not playing out anymore.
Fit and finish is world-class. Rosewood bridge yields a warm, jazzy sound to the guitar. Wonderful. No noticeable fret wear.
This guitar is in near-mint condition. 27 years old but you'd hardly know it. Neck binding is beginning to split from the side-position markers. Some day may need some attention. Other than that, the guitar is flawless.
The Korean made import "Newark Street" guitar is $1400 new. Get this Westerly made guitar with the Holy Grail of Guild pickups for just a few bucks more.
