FUZZ! Is a passive, transistor/diode-based distortion. Extremely small footprint allows for distortion to be added to any patch without using up valuable HP.
With no cv, this tidbit acts as a passive distortion and the knob will do nothing. With cv, the knob acts as an attenuator for the fuzz effect. Fully counterclockwise lets the signal pass through with minimal distortion, fully clockwise allows for full cv control. When driven at +5v you get full distortion and -5v allows the signal to pass with no distortion.
