From the magical land of real Mackie-heads and Rane-heads (Woodinville, WA) SPECTRAL Inc. a Euphonix company (not affiliated with Spectral Software) was an early player in first class digital audio. They had a proprietary workstation SADIE that was fed by among others, this Translator+. Similar to Z-sys Digital Detangler, It converts and syncs eight channels of 44 or 48kHz digital audio from almost any format to almost any format. ADAT I/O; Tascam I/O, Sony, Yamaha and AES. It has Word Clock, Super Clock and is highly versatile. Mmm… not many other units do this. Most recently used to convert ADAT to AES from RME to 888/24. Includes PS and very detailed Original Manual.
