For almost 60 years, the D-20 has been one of Guild's flagship guitars, and it's counterparts have been Very Good worldwide by some of the biggest names in the business.
The D-20 is a dreadnought acoustic guitar expertly crafted with a solid mahogany top, back, and sides, giving it a full, sparkling woody tone that suits all kind of musical styles.
First introduced to the Guild line in 1968, this model features a rosewood bridge and fingerboard, compensated bone nut and saddle, and an extremely light satin nitrocellulose finish - all having been part of the essence of the guitar since it's introduction - that each allow this guitar to truly sing.
Also keeping with Guild's premium specifications are the D-20's set of Vintage Deluxe open-gear machineheads and it's X scalloped bracing - allowing the guitar to resonate more easily.
The D-20’s modest appointments include a vintage style rosette and Guild’s peak logo inlaid in mother-of-pearl on the headstock. Each D-20 comes with a hand-signed, numbered certificate of authenticity, and ships with a hardshell case.
