Buchla and TipTop have teamed up to recreate the classic Quad Lopass Gate Model 292t. The Lopass gate is perhaps one of the most recognisable functions associated with Buchla, from plucky percussion to a variety of smooth basses. This version references the revision C from Buchla.

The 292t includes four independent voltage-controlled amplifiers, each with a signal input and output, a control voltage input that varies the units gain and an offset adjustment. A switch selects one of three operating modes: straight gate (VCA), lowpass filter (VCF), or a combination of the two, in which the spectral response varies as the gain is changed. This process replicates how real world instruments sound and decay over time, and the individual CV inputs allow you to shape your timbres in any way you'd like.

Features
  • Full Eurorack functionality in the form of 3.5mm minijacks
  • Quad low pass gate module
  • Four independently controlled signals
  • Attenuators per channel to control CV bias or general gain

• 16 HP 45 mm deep
