Vintage 1981 Alembic Distillate Excellent condition w/OHSC Rare Collectors

Presented for your consideration is this vintage 1981 Alembic Distillate. Guitar is completely original. Playability is exceptional and the range of sounds that can be achieved by just one pickup is incredible. Versatility and then some. The Schaller tuners hold tune incredibly well and the brass tailpiece, bridge and nut make for a super stable platform which also aids in keeping accurate tune. The clearcoat has been removed from the back of the neck and taken down to 000 steel wool making it smoother than a baby's bottom, much more comfortable to play and less likely to stick to a potentially sweaty hand. There is the usual checking (crazing) that you would expect to find in a guitar of this age which looks awesome and adds tons of character but the clearcoat is still smooth and shines like new. All electronics are completely original and function flawlessly. Frets show minimal wear with plenty of life. Neck is straight and truss rod performs as it should.
