A simply killer Iceman from the 90s. These Korean Cort Factory models are simply awesome guitars, as good or even better the the Fujiyen guitars of the 70s and 80s.
I’ve been jamming this bad boy on gigs and sessions for a few years now. I installed audio taper 500k CTSs and shielded push back wiring and a vintage vintage super distortion. I also switched the magnet in the stock neck pickup with an U0A5 magnet that compliments the 8.0k output well. The pickups compliment one another nicely. The electronics are rounded out with a vintage Sprauge PIO cap.
The guitar plays and sounds incredible and is fairly light for such a large instrument.
It’s loud and resonant unplugged and screams when playing through a dimed Marshall.
This thing has some dings and dents, so if you’re looking for one to hang on the wall of your dentists office look elsewhere, this thing belongs on the stage.
